Product review Mario Olives

I received a sample of this product from and found it was interesting for me to try. First, let me state I do not like green olives at all. In fact, I do not even like black olives. I wanted to try them again to see if my taste has changed at all. I can honestly say, I still do not like green olives! I want to give you my honest review and not by just saying that I do not like them. The texture was fine, as it was firm and not mushy. You can taste the olive oil and slight hint of garlic. In addition, these olives are not pitted and do not have the brine. They are lightly seasoned with garlic and thyme. There was no funny aftertaste, or off flavor from a standard olive.. My husband only likes black olives and he said they were not bad. I did let someone taste them that loves green olives, and she thought they were good. What is nice about them is that they are portable and only need to be refrigerated after opening. The nutritional facts are serving size 5 olives calories 30, total fat 3g, saturated fat 0.5gm 0 cholesterol, and no carbohydrates. If you are a green olive lover, this product may be for you. Happy Memorial day. Today is a day to remember all those that have served and have given the ultimate sacrifice to our country. I will forever be grateful for their sacrifice. Because of them we have our freedom. Take a moment and say a prayer to those families that have lost their loved ones. God bless.

This  is my Bread machine it is a Black and Decker and I absolutely love it! I can make up to 1.5lbs. It has 9 functions to this machine. Basic, french, jam, wheat, gluten free, sweet, rapid white, dough, and bake. I have had this machine for approx 3 months and have made pizza dough, dinner rolls, breadstick dough,  and various types of bread. Most bread machines the paddle on the bottle will occasionally get stuck in the bread. However, I have not had that issue with this one. You can set the type of crust in 3 settings, light, medium, and dark. There is also a delayed timer button if you want to add ingredients at bed and then wake up to fresh bread in the morning. (do not put milk or eggs for the delayed timer). This machine also has a keep warm button. However, I do not use it as my bread got wet from sitting to long.. I really enjoy this machine and hope that maybe others will enjoy reading about it and try this great recipe.

 Picture and recipe from

I have been making this recipe for many years. Back when I was younger my mom used to make this recipe and I never knew where she got the recipe from. Now that I am older I have been making this recipe for many years and it has become one of our favorites. What I love about them too is that everything fits right into the roll and if you were to eat them cold you do not even need a fork! You can use any of pillsbury rolls and they work great. I use the 4 pack of rolls as I make 30-40 at a time! Here is the recipe. Hope you enjoy them as much as we do!

lb lean (at least 80%) ground beef, cooked, drained
 cup barbecue sauce
can (10.2 oz) Pillsbury® Grands!® Flaky Layers refrigerated biscuits
cup shredded Cheddar cheese (3 oz)

1 In 10-inch nonstick skillet, mix cooked beef and barbecue sauce. Heat over medium-high heat, stirring constantly, until hot. 2 Pull each biscuit apart into 2 layers; press each into 4-inch round. Place 1 round in each of 8 greased regular-size muffin cups. Firmly press in bottom and up side, forming 1/4-inch rim. Fill with beef mixture; sprinkle with cheese. 3 Bake at 375°F 13 to 15 minutes or until edges of biscuits are golden brown. Cool 1 minute; remove from pan.
Any flavor barbecue sauce can be used for these cups.

BzzAgent review

I was so glad I got chosen to do this campaign. I love using olive oil in my cooking as it is much healthier than butter. When I got my bzz kit I was excited. I received a full bottle of Filippo Berio extra virgin olive oil, coupons and a recipe book attached to the coupons. I looked through the recipe book and noticed one for broken spaghetti with shrimp. I love shrimp and spaghetti so that really made me want to make it! All my kids loved it and cannot wait to make it again! Today I seared my pot roast using the Filippo Berio olive oil. It seared it nicely and gave it great flavor. I also love italian bread dipped in the EVOO.

Here is the recipe. Broken spaghetti with shrimp. 1 teaspoon (or more) dried hot red pepper flakes 1 large garlic clove, peeled 2 tablespoons flat-leaf parsley 1 tablespoon fresh mint leaves Zest and juice of 1 lemon Salt to taste 1 pound frozen medium-size cooked shrimp, defrosted 2 tablespoons Filippo Berio Extra Virgin Olive Oil 1 cup frozen chopped broccoli or spinach, defrosted and squeezed dry 6 cherry tomatoes, cut in half 1 pound spaghetti or other long pasta, broken in half 1/4 cup reserved cooking water Coarse black pepper to taste Directions Mince the red pepper flakes, garlic, parsley and mint together. Transfer the mixture to a bowl. Stir in the zest and lemon juice and a pinch of salt. Toss the shrimp in the mixture and allow it to sit for 5 minutes Heat olive oil in a large sauté pan. When the oil is hot, stir in the shrimp and cook 2 minutes. Stir in the broccoli or spinach and cook 1 minute more. Stir in the tomatoes and cook 1 minute longer. Keep the mixture warm. After draining the spaghetti, add it to the shrimp along with the reserved water and reheat quickly until everything is hot. Correct the seasoning with salt and pepper and serve.
