Review & Giveaway Almondina Biscuit Cookies

From Almondina website as this is a beautiful story that I would love to share with you about the company and what Almondina is about.

“Almondina® is the inspiring success story of a man whose great loves include both music and wonderful food. For generations his family loved his grandmother Dina’s most secret cookie, which she called Petit Gateau Sec. Yuval Zaliouk, an internationally known symphony conductor and gourmet chef, always had a special place in his heart (and stomach) for this exquisite, crispy wafer with the delicate flavor of roasted almonds and the natural sweetness of plump raisins.

“Generous as she was in giving away her recipes, Grandmother Dina kept the one for Petit Gateau Sec a total secret until the end of her life. Only then did she finally reveal the secret to her daughter, Ahuda, my mother.”

“It is with her blessing and with pride that the Zaliouk family shares these delicious, healthful wonders with your family.”

Almondina are an all-natural thin biscuit cookie that has no cholesterol, no added fat, salt, or preservatives. Each flavor of Almondina is low in calories so you can enjoy a cookie without feeling guilty. I did not know what to expect when I received Almondina. At first, I thought these must be very fattening and I should only try a couple. I decided to look at the nutritional information and noticed that four biscuits of the chocolate cherry is only 132 calories. Well once I read that information, I knew then I could eat multiple! In fact, 1 biscuit turned into many. No, I did not eat them all in one sitting but that would not be hard to do. I received 7 packages of Almondina to try and share my experience of them with you.

Original Almondina biscuit cookies are considered their #1 bestseller cookies. The slivered almonds and plump raisins are all through the delicate biscuit. In addition, they have the perfect crunch and texture.

The Cinnaroma Almondina biscuits are perfect when paired with coffee or tea.

Almondina Choconut biscuits are made with rich chocolate, raisins and slivered almonds. These were one of my favorite flavored cookies and definitely hit the spot when I had a chocolate craving. In addition, these have no cholesterol so you can eat these and have no guilt!

Almondina Sesame cookies are infused with exotic roasted sesame seeds that give them a unique flavor. In addition, they complement the raisins and almonds beautifully.

The other flavors I had the opportunity to try were the Chocolate Cherry, GingerSpice, and Almonduo. The Chocolate Cherry are made with rich dark chocolate and have big pieces of plump cherries along with the almonds. The GingerSpice have sweet chunks of chewy ginger and the Almonduo is perfect for someone who loves nuts as they have almonds and pistachios. The Choconut and Chocolate Cherry are my daughter’s favorite she said they were so good that she could have ate the whole package herself!

Almondina comes in all these flavors

*Some of these may only be seasonal*

You can enjoy Almondina cookies anytime of day as they have no cholesterol and very low in fat (no trans fat). My favorite way to enjoy these cookies are with my nightly coffee. I have coffee every night and always looking for something to have with my coffee and these hit the spot.
