I recently received coupons to try out Gorton’s Wicked Good Seafood. As most of you know I was born and raised in New England and only have been living in Florida for 3.5 years. I am a big seafood lover and have only been brought up on New England seafood and the Florida Seafood is not cutting it for me at all. I miss having fish and my children love seafood too so I was very excited to be able to get some of this for my family.

Sometimes during the week, I just do not feel like making a huge dinner. With Gorton’s Wicked Good Seafood, you can get dinner on the table in a jiffy. When I went to the store to get my selection of Gorton’s products they were BOGO so I was able to get a great selection of products to try.

My selection are

Gorton’s Haddock Fish Filets – Lightly coated with bread crumbs and taste delicious. I grew up eating Haddock so this was a nice treat.

Gorton’s Beer Battered Fish Filets- Made with real draft beer these filets have a slight crunch and have a pub style flavor to them. These are great with a serving of French fries.

Gorton’s Fish Sticks- Gorton’s Fish Sticks are my daughters favorite Gorton’s product. These are great in a fish taco or great for dipping into your favorite sauce. My favorite way is dipped in ketchup!

Gorton’s has an array of products such as Shrimp, Grilled Tilapia, Grilled Salmon, Baked Tilapia, Haddock and Salmon. In addition, Gorton’s has new Skillet Crisp products as well such as Skillet Crisp Shrimp and Tilapia. You can download a coupon to try their products here.

Last night I put a quick meal together as I was hungry for a late snack. I did not have any lettuce or tomato on hand and that would of complimented the sandwich nicely.

I used 2 Gorton’s Beer Battered Fish Filet on a hamburger bun and then added ketchup for a condiment. As I said before I ran out of lettuce and tomato but you can add them to your sandwich. If you like tartar sauce or honey mustard that would be tasty too. There are many fantastic meals you can make with Gorton’s products. For some great recipes, check it out here.
