I was very excited when I was contacted to do a review of Against the Wild. I love family friendly movies that I can watch with my children. My children could not wait to watch it once it arrived. Against the Wild is about two siblings and their companion (dog) that travel to visit their father by plane and the plane crashes. They get lost in the wilderness and they must use their skills and instincts to survive against the wild. While navigating the children encounter issues that will have you on the edge of your seat wondering if they will overcome the problems they have. In the meantime, the parents start working together to try to find their children. If you are an animal lover you may really enjoy this movie. My kids are 14, 12, 8, and 6 and loved the movie. They have actually watched it 2 times since we have received it. The movie is rated PG and family friendly. Some younger children may get scared at some of the animal scenes. Here is a trailer below for a sneak peek. You can purchase this movie on Amazon.com
