Back to School Gift Guide Suggestion

School is suddenly creeping up and one of the essential things kids need is a good backpack. My kids always complain every year that their backpack is too heavy and hurts their back. Does this sound familiar? You can end up with back problems from putting strain every day on your back. The last thing I want is my children to suffer from back problems from lugging heavy books around. When I received the opportunity to review The Bump backpack from AIRBAC I could not have been more excited.

Our AIRBAC™ patented air support system allows the weight in the backpack to rest comfortably just above the waistline, to literally take the weight off your back and shoulders. You’ll feel the difference immediately!

Promotes Better Posture and Spinal Alignment – AIRBAC™ technology enables your body to relax in an upright position (as opposed to a hunched over position to compensate for the extra weight). That’s why AIRBAC™ is endorsed by back specialists nationwide.

Built-In Shock Absorbers – The weight of every step you take— running or walking—is absorbed by AIRBAC™ instead of your back, thanks to our patented air support system.

AIRBAC adjusts to fit any body type. With padded shoulder staps and patented air support system you can customize it to fit.

In addition, I was not expecting there to be a lot of room inside due to the padding, however, there is just as much room in this backpack as any other. What I really like is inside there is a pouch where my daughter can hold additional paperwork or folders. The mesh side is perfect for a water bottle. The front has 3 separate organizational pockets which can be used for a variety of things. Nowadays kids have cell phones and the inside pocket would be perfect for a phone pocket.

You can customize the straps to your comfort level. I had my youngest daughter try the AIRBAC on and we stuffed it with books and other items. My daughter was surprised how light the backpack felt on her. In addition, she said that this was going to feel a lot better to her than her backpack last year. You can find more information about AIRBAC on their website. You can find a list of retail stores that carry AIRBAC here.
