Back to School Gift Guide Suggestion
My children have been in school uniforms for three years. When we first moved to Florida and the children were enrolled into school they were not placed in a uniform school. When we moved location in Florida, three of my children were placed in a school that requires uniforms. At first I was not happy about it and either were my children; however, once they started wearing them they really liked it a lot better. I found my children were more focused on schooling and not the clothes they wore. Over the past few years we usually buy the uniforms at Walmart and while they are ok in a pinch the material is not the best. I had the pleasure of reviewing school uniforms from Classroom Uniforms.
I have had the uniforms for a few weeks and wanted to test them out by washing them a few times to see how they held up. The Youth Unisex Interlock Polo is a short sleeve interlock knit shirt, 3 buttons, and matching ribbed collar and cuffs. This shirt is a colorfast 60% cotton / 40% polyester blend. The shirt is extremely durable as I have washed it several times and it has held its shape beautifully. The material is softer than most fabric blends and not rough at all. My son was not very enthusiastic to take pictures for me so I tried my best.
My daughter was not in the mood to get her picture taken before school haha. I have been bugging them all week and they just did not want to cooperate. The shirt I received for my daughter is the Youth Unisex Interlock Polo short sleeve in Burgandy. This shirt has also held up extremely well and the color has not run either in the wash. This shirt is 60/40 cotton polyester. My daughter mentioned she loved how the shirt fit and how comfortable it is. In addition, she mentioned that the material was softer than any of her shirts from the previous years.
The Boys Pleat Front Shorts has 2 side and 2 rear pockets. Waist has center-back elastic, hook and eye closure. Soil-release poly/cotton twill holds color and releases stains with little or no ironing. These come in 2 colors navy and Khaki.
The adjustable waist band makes it easy to adjust if the pants are too big. When my kids were small I always bought pants with the adjustable waist band as I could go up one size and make them fit to last longer.
The next item I received is the girls Bermuda Low Rise waist shorts. Low Rise Girls plus sized Bermuda short sits on the hip, with a narrow leg for a lean look. Center-back elastic waist. Top-pockets, short fly, and belt loops complete this contemporary look. Poly/cotton soil-release twill is wash-and-wear.
