Creating zombie-style hair will take you around five minutes. It is best to work with hair that is a little dirty, and so you should wash your hair the night before you create the look. Use dry shampoo to give your hair some extra volume. Flip your head over and spray dry shampoo on the roots of your hair. Use a fine comb to backcomb underneath your hair. Doing so will make your hair big and bushy. Make the ends of your hair look sleek and smooth to complete the look. Use a herstyler flat iron to straighten the tips of your hair. You should have puffed up hair with a smooth finish for this look.

Pale, dry skin

As the base for your zombie makeover, you will need pale, dry skin. Apply your usual foundation and then cover with white powder. You can buy a white powder from many costume stores or rock shops. You may need to put a few layers of the powder on your skin before it looks pale white. If you have dark skin, it might be worth getting a face paint, rather than a powder as this will give you a better level of coverage.

Scars and sores

Creating scars and sores on your face is a little tricky. You can buy fake sores online and stick them on your face. Once the sores are on your face, use your powder or face paint to blend them into your complexion. You can use fake blood to cover the seams of the sores so that you can’t tell that they are fake. Make sure that you stick the sores down firmly. You want this look to last an entire evening.

Contact lenses

One thing that will make your look stand out is colorful contact lenses. You can buy contact lenses in a large variety of colors. Red or purple will look great as part of your zombie-inspired makeup. If you have not used contact lenses before, it is worth testing them first. Some people have a bad reaction the first time they wear contacts. Test the contacts the day before so that you can be sure that they won’t hurt during the night.

Gaunt eyes

If you have some dark eye-shadows, you should use them to create gaunt eyes as part of your zombie look. Start with a neutral base color and use different layers of eye-shadow to create the look. With each new color, you need your eyes to get darker. Make your eyes as dark as possible so that you look scary.

Fake blood and red lips

To complete the look, you will need a tube or fake blood and a beautiful crimson lipstick. Choose a lipstick color that is bold. Bright red and crimson will look incredible next to your pale zombie skin. Use the fake blood to create cuts on your face. Hold the tube at an angle above your face and squeeze. Let the fake blood drip down your face as it dries as this will make the look realistic.
