I had the pleasure of receiving Nature Nate’s Honey and flavored Syrup to try. I do not always use a lot of honey but my kids do for dipping and sometimes a little honey in your tea taste great.
Nature Nate’s Natural Honey | Our Passion and Purpose
Nature Nate’s history starts with Nathan himself—when a post-honeymoon hobby turned into a mission. Busy juggling a job and a new family, he bought a beehive on a whim. There was just something fascinating about these industrious, honey-making marvels! As with many pastimes, this one soon turned into more “full” than part time, and after much prayer and long conversations with his wife, Nathan traded his day job for a new life’s work. And Nature Nate’s 100% Pure, Raw and Unfiltered Honey was born.
Normally I buy just regular honey in the grocery store and never thought much about the difference in honey. I never understood what unfiltered and raw honey is and why it is better in flavor. Raw and unfiltered honey means the honey is not heated above 120 degrees, which in turn, it helps retain all the enzymes in the honey. Unfiltered means it still has pollen and has the best flavor, aroma, and nutrients. When I first tried Nature Nate’s honey, I was very pleased with the flavor. I found it to be sweet and taste more natural than the regular honey in the store. I found the consistency to be smooth but more on the thin side and not as thick as filtered honey.
Nature Nate’s Honey Syrup is packed with lots of delicious flavor. I had the chance to try the Sweet Strawberry and was surprised how much strawberry flavor it had. Sometimes flavored syrups have an awful aftertaste and with Nature Nate’s syrup it did not have any after taste because it has real strawberry puree, honey and natural flavors. Nature Nate’s Honey Syrups are made with honey and are natural, gluten free, and contains no additives such as high fructose corn syrup. I normally do not use flavored syrups on pancakes and prefer traditional maple syrup; however, once I tried Nature Nate’s Sweet Strawberry I want to get all of the flavors and use this instead. This holiday season why not get someone a great gift of flavored syrups or choose one of their holiday tins that contain a 16oz bottle of raw unfiltered honey? The Christmas tins are super cute and there is many different things one can do with honey.
