I have said time and time again that this is my year to make things right by eating healthier and start exercising more. My name is Thomas Cox and fitness and healthy living have always been one of the driving forces in my life. I grew up loving sports and played college football at the University of Alabama, Birmingham. I was later blessed to be able to coach football at both the high school and collegiate levels. I have been a competitive CrossFit athlete since 2011 and have been blessed with an opportunity to work with and train with some of the most talented athletes on the planet. I am married to my best friend and fellow CrossFit athlete, Jackie, and we have 2 amazing kids.
What is MealFit?
MealFit is a monthly meal-planning program that includes a menu that surrounds upon paleo, primal and southern-style cooking. A basic principle of these recipes is that when you limit your high glycemic carbohydrates and use low-glycemic carbohydrates and fat as your energy sources, you will perform, look and feel better. MealFit is great for those that are always on the go or moms that just do not have a lot of time. I know many times I need more hours in my day to get my meal-planning done. With MealFit there is no more worry!
MealFit plans the menu for breakfast, snacks and dinner. Lunches are included because you use the leftovers from your previous night’s dinner, which in turn will save time and money. MealFit will provide you an entire grocery list with quantities for everything you will need for the upcoming week’s recipes, which gives you healthy recipes, You will receive five dinner meals/recipes each week. In addition, included will be some crockpot meals which is a big time saver for us moms and dads that work all day and want dinner done by the time you get home. Also included are breakfast and snack ideas for the week, with one easy recipe per week of each. MealFit has also recently added ZONE diet, measurements to all meal plans to better assist you in achieving your fitness goal.

MealFit has two different plans available. One is the original and the other is strict.
The Original Plan is 95% Paleo. Sometimes on occasion we will put some non Paleo Items on the plan (Cheese, Peanut butter, ect. )
This is for the people that are eating clean but not totally super strict. It gives people that mental break from all the restrictions. It is measured out and divided into servings. This is plan has a lower carbohydrate content and is a great plan if you are looking to improve fitness, lean up or lose weight in general. This is our most popular plan by far.
This plan is GLUTEN FREE most of the time. You can eliminate the gluten free items with ease.
Strict Paleo Zone is 100% Paleo Food that is Zoned out into the zone parameters. Zone is an eating concept that is of the belief that the quantity of food is the most important thing.
Food is divided into “Blocks” In this plan, each “Block” represents
- 9 grams of Carbohydrates
- 7 grams of Protein
- 7.5 grams of Fat (This is 5x the amount that is in a normal “Block”)
Each serving is portioned out into 4 Block Meals. Meaning, each serving has,
- 36 grams of Carbs
- 28 grams of Protein
- 30 grams of Fat
2 Block Snacks
- 18 grams of carbs
- 14 grams of protein
- 15 grams of fat
This plan is for the elite competitor who wants to know the exact number of macronutrients that they are consuming on a daily basis.
