As you know sometimes a new year can bring new things. Olive Garden is taking a twist on their classics and bringing new flavors to the menu. They have such a great menu and with the added menu items, there is sure to be something for everyone to enjoy. I will be visiting my local Olive Garden to sample these items and will let you know what we think after.
- Mediterranean Flatbread – Basil pesto and olive oil, topped with a blend of four Italian cheeses, artichoke hearts, olives, capers, roasted red peppers, and garlic.
- Pizzaiola Flatbread – Italian sausage, pepperoni, roasted red peppers and homemade marinara with a blend of four Italian cheeses.
- Artichoke Fritti Small Plate – Olive Garden is bringing back a fan favorite! Artichokes hearts are lightly battered and fried, then topped with Italian cheeses. Served with a citrus aioli dipping sauce.
- Citrus Chicken Sorrento – Tender, grilled chicken breasts in a citrus honey glaze, inspired by the Italian city of Sorrento, famous for its lemon groves. Served with lightly-seasoned broccoli, artichokes and roasted vegetables.
All of these items have been permanently added to the menu. Have you been to Olive Garden and tried any of these items? Let me know what you think! Connect with Olive Garden on Facebook and Twitter. You can always go to their website and see the menu and check where there is a Olive Garden near you.
