Creative Hands knows how important it is for children today to be engaged in creative learning. Kids that are exposed to engaged learning stand a better than average chance of becoming higher-functioning, more successful, and better adjusted than peers not exposed to arts and crafts. There are a lot of sm’ARt benefits that Fibre-Craft Creative Hands has outlined below.
Growing up my two girls have always had a love for arts and crafts. At first they were always fixated on doing everything correctly and making it perfect. I always told them that it does not have to be perfect to be beautiful and that creativity comes from the mind and no matter how they create anything it will always be beautiful and special because it was created from their hearts and mind. Over the years I have seen them transform the most beautiful art work and most of all they have fun doing it. With that said I had the wonderful opportunity to review three craft kits from Fibre-Craft Creative Hands. When I received all three kits my two girls could not wait to dive in. I decided to let them wait a bit as I wanted to participate with them and have fun doing it too. This weekend we pulled all three kits out and made some sm’ARt art.
With the Creative Fun Tote it comes with an instructional sheet to show you how to make some cute projects. Of course you do not have to make them, but if you choose to it shows you how. My kids had fun making some of them and have left over material to create anything else they would like. In this kit there is a ton of supplies such as pom poms, googly eyes, colored paper plates, fuzzy sticks and more. This tote is the perfect tote to play with on a rainy day when the kids are stuck inside as there is tons of project ideas that are super fun.
Using two paper plates, pom poms, glue and scissors my daughter made a cupcake!
My daughter found a older picture of herself and decided to make a picture frame using the cut outs. You can also add stickers and different decorations that are included in this kit.
The next kit we had fun with is the Bugs & Flowers. There is so many cute projects in this kit we did not know what we wanted to make at first. This kit includes fuzzy sticks, paper plates, cut outs, paper cups, stickers, and more. You can add these fun projects to your garden outside to give it some decoration and your kids might enjoy helping to put their creations outside where it can be seen.
The last kit we had fun making creative projects with is the Zoo 2 do kit. This kit is very fun to play with as there is over 25 projects included.
These are just some of the cute projects you can make using these kits. The best of all we spent quality time together and it was nice to have my kids put their electronics aside and just have fun using old fashioned glue and scissors. Each kit has a handle made for easy carrying which is especially helpful when on the go. For a reasonable price of $12.99 you can find the Zoo 2 do kit at Fred Meyer, Meijer and Kroger, the Paper Pals Bug & Flower kit can be found at at Zulily and Meijers retailers coast to coast, Creative Fun tote can be found at Fred Meyer, Meijer and Kroger stores.
