From Disneynature the studios that brought you Bears and Chimpanzee is Monkey Kingdom which features a nature documentary narrated by Tina Frey. The documentary follows a newborn monkey and its mother as they struggle to survive within the competitive social hierarchy of the Temple Troop, a dynamic group of monkeys who live in ancient ruins found deep in the storied jungles of South Asia.


Maya a macaque living in the jungles of Sri Lanka with her son Kip. Down on the social ladder Maya is determined to make a good life for her son. Being low on the social class and home being taken over by neighboring powerful monkeys Maya has to use her street smarts to survive and reclaim Castle Rock in hopes to give her son a great future. Maya goes underwater collecting flower and seed pods. While collecting she comes across a 7 foot monitor lizard who looks scary and would like a monkey snack. The film is very entertaining and will warm your heart. You can now purchase this on Dvd Blu-Ray in your local stores or online.
