Guitar Hero Live is the world’s first playable music video network, (GHTV) that lets you play along to a continually-updated collection of official music videos across a wide variety of genres from the newest releases to favorite hits. This game is available onPlayStation 4, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, Wii U, iOS, and Xbox 360. This awesome game introduces two powerful ways to play, including GH Live, where there’s a first person point of view where you are up on the stage as the star of the show! Guitar Hero Live is a live action experience that delivers the full emotional roller coaster of being on stage and performing in a real band, in front of real crowds who react to how well you play.

This game has so many features that any Guitar Hero fan will enjoy. My daughter loves Guitar Hero and had every game before this one. She enjoyed the special edition Green Day one, where she could rock out to all her favorite Green Day hits. In the new Guitar Hero Live being the lead guitarist you can play a wide range of different songs among different venues in different musical landscapes. You can play on a stage in a small club or on a massive outdoor stage playing in front of thousands of people!

As stated before during GHTV mode players can play to updated collections of official music videos, players can also play with their friends in the same room and against other players from around the world to see who can get the highest score to any given song while being able to complete challenges along the way. My daughter enjoyed playing this game so much, she was so excited to get started. Knowing there was going to be a new Guitar Hero game out she was so stoked. She played her first couple songs so flawlessly, she knew what she was doing and moved straight to the medium mode. With this Guitar Hero, they brought a different modern, redesigned guitar controller. Which features two rows of three button that better reflects the way people naturally play. With this new designed guitar controller beginner plays can rock on with just the top row of buttons, and medium level players like my daughter don’t have to stretch their fingers down the neck of the guitar like older guitar controllers from past games. They can just play with both top rows. Seems pretty simple right? Well they didn’t forget about the more experienced players..they have a new challenge in creating complex chord-like shapes and finger combinations that will bring new thrills to the veteran players.

Guitar Hero Live features hundreds of songs to play, across a diverse selection of artists like, Fall Out Boy, Ed Sheeran, The Rolling Stones, Skrillex, Carrie Underwood and many many more bands and artists.

I joined in and played with my daughter, I’ve never played a game likes this before so I was messing up quite a bit. But it felt cool to play to popular songs I’ve heard. This is a great family game, play together and jam out on guitars or battle against one another.

Guitar Hero Live is available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, XBox One, XBox 360, and Wii U.

You can purchase Guitar Hero Live in your local stores nationwide and online.
