Chrysler has announced the replacement line for the Town & Country mini-van for the 2017 model year. In the inauguration year, you have a choice between either a 3.6-Liter Pentastar V-6 Standard or Hybrid motor to power your riding experience. The standard gasoline edition produces an impressive 287 horse power with 262 lb-ft of torque. Conversely, the hybrid edition produces 248 horse power and 230 lb-ft of torque. Converting the power of the engine is the nine-speed Torqueflite automatic front wheel drive transmission. This will translate all available torque to the standard 17-inch aluminum wheels holding the BSW All season tires.
The interior features are always the selling point of such versatile vehicles as the Pacifica. With the flagship model, Chrysler does not disappoint. The standard Stow-and-Go seating is available with the possibility of adding Stow-and-Go Assist. This feature allows you to hide and restore the seats via electrical assistance. With anything, safety is always a concern. The Pacifica offers an Active Safety technology which allows you to automatically park the vehicle in both parallel and perpendicular parking. It also has a feature that it will detect potential collisions and apply the brake to prevent accidents.
Of course, the options are available for the standard minivan perks. The Pacifica takes it to a new level. With the hands-free sliding doors and rear hatch, it will detect your key and allow you to swipe your foot under the car to engage the hands-free assistance. This will be especially helpful when you have your hands full of groceries of your precious sleeping child! Another first is that it will offer ventilated seats and LED interior lighting to provide a more pleasurable riding experience. For those who like sunroofs, the Pacifica offers a tri-pane sunroof.
With this vehicle being released in the spring of 2017, it is time that you hit up your local dealers like Akin’s Dodge, Jeep, Chrysler to find out more information, or to purchase one for yourself.
