Criss-Croissants New Way to Enjoy Breakfast at IHop

Breakfast food is my favorite. Nothing like having breakfast for dinner or even in the afternoon. Last week I had thre pleasure of trying out IHops new Criss-Croissants.  A friend of mine and I decided to try two different ones to see what our favorite was. I chose the Salted caramel with bananas. How can you resist caramel with bananas?


At first I was unsure if I would like this as I’m not usually into eating sweet breakfast foods but I was surprised how much I actually enjoyed it. The Criss-Croissant is made with a  waffle iron to give it the texture like a waffle, but flakey like a croissant. The inside is stuffed with bananas and deluce de leche cream with a salted caramel drizzle on top. Can you say yum?


My friend could not resist trying the strawberry Criss-Croissant. This delectable dish is filled with sweet cream cheese, strawberries on top and a strawberry drizzle. If you love strawberries, you will love this. If you have a savory side to you, you can try their new spinach and roasted red pepper Criss-Croissant that features scrambled eggs, roasted red peppers and spinach. In addition, it is topped with White Cheddar, Parmesan and Hollandaise sauce.


If this was not enough, you can add an egg combo dish. Each one pairs well with the Criss-Croissants. These are only available for a limited time at participating IHop restaurants until September 25th.
