Bungie and Activision have released the biggest release so far this year in the form of Destiny – The Collection. This provides all of the content for the first person shooter with an on-line multi-player flare. It was released in September with the release of Destiny: Rise of Iron. For those who purchase the collection, it will be included. Both the PlayStation 4 and the Xbox One owners will have the ability to get their hands on this complete set.
For those who purchase the PlayStation version, they will get exclusive content for Rise of Iron. New players will enjoy the collection as it provides character boosts to help get your character up to level with your friends. This is available in both platforms. There are also multiple modes that you can enjoy more than the standard quest based MMORPG grind. Some areas require three and six player co-operative assistance to work through. As well, you can directly fight with opponents and friends with several competitive mutliplayer modes.
The quests provide a decent ratio of weapons and equipment to keep your character going strong and evolving during the single player quests. The ability to switch between first and third player stances can help in certain instances while playing the game. I do have to say I like it better than being stuck in either first or third for the entire game. Mainly, this is because the demands of the game require more than just a single minded aspect for the game play.
Another benefit of the Destiny series is that they provide direct access to the development team through several methods. The access is provided through their Facebook and Twitter pages. In addition you can contact them directly on their site at Bungie.net and on Twitch. For a MSRP of $59.99, you can pick up this excellent game at almost any major retailer that carries PlayStation and Xbox games.
