There are several forms of educational entertainment to fill your itinerary with and the State Museum of Pennsylvania is one of them.
The museum offers a variety of permanent exhibits, such as the “Pennsylvania Icons” exhibit, which looks at influential people and events that have shaped the nation’s development exhibit, and there are changing exhibits too that you can enjoy if you return to Harrisburg at a later date.
Another fascinating attraction is the National Civil War Museum, which you can find in Reservoir Park in Harrisburg.

Wildwood Park is situated in the rolling hills of central Pennsylvania and covers an area of just under 230-acres. The place is a renowned haven for a large number of species of flora and fauna with a 90-acre freshwater wetland providing the background and setting.
There is a very popular three-mile loop trail to take at Wildwood Park which encircles the park and gives you a good view of the nature that is thriving here.
You can also visit the Olewine Nature Center in the park, which always has some engaging exhibits and makes environmental education a fun thing to do for all the family.
