Alfa Romeo has introduced the 2018 Stelvio Quadrifoglio that brings an interesting new look to the high-end sports utility vehicle class. This edition provides the driver with a refined balance of power and luxury to provide the ultimate in driving experiences.
The power plant is an all-aluminum 2.9-liter twin-turbocharged V6 motor that provides 505 horsepower and 443 pound-feet of torque. These are numbers that you could easily expect out of an eight-cylinder power plant with the fuel economy of a six cylinder. The Quadrifoglio achieves 28 miles per gallon on the highway and 24 miles per gallon in the city. This is from a vehicle that can perform a 0 to 60 pull in a mere 3.6 seconds.
The top speed of this vehicle is 176 miles per hour and drives smoothly with its all-wheel-drive system providing the power to all wheels. The fifty-fifty weight distribution between the front and rear also means that it can handle the cornering better than that of its competitors. This vehicle is so stable, it was able to obtain a 7:52.7 Nürburgring lap time, which set a new record for the fastest SUV in the world.
The interior provides with luxury and sport as you would expect from Alfa Romeo. The seats are Alcantara sports seats with a leather-wrapped steering wheel. The red push button starts and column-mounted aluminum paddle shifters and carbon fiber interior trim provide for the racy feel of the vehicle. For your infotainment, the 8.8-inch widescreen color display system allows you to control the 14-speaker Harman Kardon premium audio system.
