Chrysler has introduced the 2019 Chrysler 300 to the public. This award-winning vehicle comes with five different models that provide varying feature sets. The flagship of luxury sedan class for the Chrysler lineup, the 300 adds new features to its previous offerings. Without further ado, I will present the highlights that are worthy of mention.
The power plant of these five models vary slightly, but all are based off very solid engines that provide a great driving experience. Standard on the 300C and optional on the 300S is the 5.7-liter HEMI V-8 engine. This power plant provides 363 horsepower with 394 lb.-ft of torque. Fuel mileage on this vehicle is fairly impressive in comparison of the output power. Inside of the city, it will provide 16 miles per gallon and 25 while on the highway.
Standard in the V-6 editions of the 300s is an expanded version of the Pentastar V-6 engine that provides 300 horsepower. The 300S package also includes paddle shifters, a sports mode, and performance suspension. Aesthetically, the model has blacked-out exterior accents, black noise wheels, leather-wrapped sports seats, and an exclusive piano black interior accents. An Alpine nine-speaker audio system with a trunk subwoofer is also included.
All of the 300 vehicles come with an exclusive TorqueFlite eight-speed automatic transmission that delivers the higher fuel economy for both the V6 and V8 engines. This helps the engines have a total range of 426 miles, 352 miles respectively. Also, the V-6 models are available with the most advanced AWD system that includes an active transfer case and front-axle disconnect that allows the vehicle to seamlessly switch between AWD and rear wheel drive without the driver’s input.
