This is the month we have been waiting for! Another month another fantastic box! Every single month has been amazing and exciting to open. Some of you that have been following know that StarLooks is a subscription program that offers 4-6 full size products in each StarBox every month for only $15.00. If you love makeup and beauty products you will not be unhappy. Each box comes packaged beautifully and the products are exquisite. Well, what are we waiting for? Let’s get to the box and contents.

The box is a pretty red for the holiday season. Again, I forgot to leave the lovely gold ribbon that wraps around the box. When the box arrives I quickly open it and somehow the ribbon ends up being misplaced. The most important is the contents are intact and that is what I am going to show you.
In this December LooksBook edition, “ Be the Light” they took inspiration from the lights of the Christmas tree and created 3 different looks using the basic rule of colors of the color wheel, Color Opposites known as complimentary colors. Red/Green, Orange/Blue, Violet/Yellow.
This is their 15 shade Palette that retails for $99. If you did not order Starlooks to get the December box you can purchase this box on StarLooks for $25. In addition, you can purchase past StarBoxes that you have missed as well. Exciting isn’t it? So do not worry and go get yours today! As you can see the colors here are vibrant, bold, and beautiful! I have been playing around with the different colors and created multiple looks to show you.
love dramatic looks so I decided to do a rainbow look with the different colors. I used Red in the corner of my eye then Orange, Yellow, Green shimmer, Blue shimmer on the corner and dark purple with violet shimmer on top near the eyebrow.
I used the Blue matte and blue shimmer together on the lid. I then applied Orange shimmer on top near the eyebrow. In addition, there are a variety of looks you can create with this palette. Often I will mix 2 different shades that have the same tones together to make a color have a bolder look. I love the diversity of cosmetics and find myself sitting at my desk trying different color combinations just for fun.
How do I get started?
Look no further you can connect head on right over to their website HERE and subscribe to get their wonderful monthly box. You can gift one to a friend or family member which could be the ultimate Christmas gift! Make sure you visit them on Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, and Youtube.

Starlooks StarBox Review

If you have never heard of Starlooks keep on reading and I will tell you all about this wonderful subscription box that you do not want to miss out on. I have been receiving Starlooks Starbox for several months and it is one of the best beauty subscription boxes that I have ever come across. Let’s get down to business and take a look at this great box!

After I receive my shipping confirmation that my box is on the way, every day I am eager to check the mail to see if my box has arrived. When it arrived I get that giddy feeling that you get when you get excited about something. I rip open my package and forget to take a photo every time with the lovely bow they attach. Next time I promise I will take a photo! This month’s box has leopard print which I love. Starlooks must have known I love animal prints.
Starlooks StarBox is a monthly beauty subscription program that offers 3-4 full size products in each box. For a low cost of $15.00 a month you will receive at least $30.00-$35.00 worth of products and some months it is worth more! You can purchase past Starbox’s on their website. However, if you do not want to skip a month you will want to subscribe to make sure you do not miss out on a great deal. Now it is time for the unveiling of this awesome box.
This month was Starlooks very first semi-customizable edition which I thought was pretty cool! We got to choose between light, medium, and dark. I did not know what to expect with each color scheme but knowing Starlooks I knew it had to be amazing.
Starlooks Customizable Palette
This came with a mix of matte and shimmers to create a variety of different looks. First let me mention to you that some people received their box this month with the eyeshadows smashed. Starlooks is replacing them for people that had that issue. Starlooks wants their customers to be able to switch out their eyeshadows therefore; they do not use glue to adhere the pans to the case. With that said, Starlooks is doing everything possible to ensure this does not happen in the future. Sometimes mishaps happen and we have to learn from it. Starlooks recognizes this and will rectify the situation.
The colors I received in this are from top to bottom. Hint of Rust, Midnight in Mongolia, Coffee Bean, and Void Echo.
This month Starlooks is talking about the “Prime Look” If you do not know what Prime Look is, it is the base makeup everyone needs to create a flawless look before any color is applied. Starlooks believes that with the perfect prime look it will bring your best facial features out making your skin glow and looking flawless.

I applied the top right color (Midnight in Mongolia) over the lid to use as a base. I then applied Coffee Bean in the crease of my eyelid. I used the top left (Hint of Rust) under the brow to highlight and you can also use this on your lid as well. Lastly, I put Void Echo in the corner of my eye to create the perfect corner. These eyeshadow pans can be found on Starlooks and are $9.00 for each color.
My Verdict
I love these neutral colors. I love bold colors. However, after using this set I really love the neutral color look. I really liked how it was a mix of shimmer and matte. Sparkly shimmers have always been a favorite of mine and thanks to Starlooks I now love a mix of both kinds. Sometimes we need to try things before we really know if we like it or not.
For the lips this is a tendergloss which is lipstick and lip gloss combined. This was also catered to my skin tone. This tendergloss is silky and smooth. I never felt a lip product go on so smooth and feel so silky. The feeling I had when I was applying it was like taking smooth butter and rubbing it over your lips. It is hard to describe but it felt like it was melting into my skin. It is very nourishing to your lips. The color is called pearl and I love the color with my skin tone. One of my favorites! This Tendergloss retails for $11.00 on Starlooks.
This is the extra surprise this month. When I opened my box and saw this I did not have any clue what it was. I thought to myself what the heck is this device? Oh neat, something to torture my kids with or my husband! Well, I decided to read the back of the card to learn what this device is really used for. This is for helping you create the perfect eye! No more smudging your mascara over your eyes or face by using this 3-in-1 mascara guide/applicator. The teeth on the end can be used to comb your eyelashes and the other for your eyebrows. I have not tried this device yet. However, I will to see what it is like.
Do not forget Decembers box is going to be a $99 fifteen shade pro eyeshadow palette!!! They are offering pre-orders for December StarBox and this is for subscribers only!! Subscribe now to get your box reserved!! You do not want to miss this chance on an amazing palette!!! You can gift it or keep it for yourself.
Lastly, every box comes with a Mystic Quartz. These Mystic Quartzes give energy and are great for decorating with so you can save them or make things with them.
My Overall Verdict
I am very happy with my StarBox this month. This box came to a total worth without the device $47.00 that is way over the $15.00 that one would pay for this box. Each box is completely worth spending $15.00 for. You cannot go down to your local drugstore and buy this quality makeup for this price. Check them out today and subscribe! Go to their Facebook page and tell them I sent you. They love to know that our reviews made a difference in your purchasing decisions. I hope you enjoyed seeing my box as much as I enjoyed sharing it with you.

Shine Bright with Starlooks Starbox Review

Here we go again another month another awesome box of surprises! This month is Octobers box with theme hear no evil, speak no evil, see no evil. Perfect theme for Halloween! I am sure some of you have read my past starlooks reviews. However, for those who are new and have never heard of this wonderful program we are going to talk about it each time. If you have not signed up, what are you waiting for? You cannot beat these boxes. Especially with some of the upcoming boxes

On the right is the card to show you the theme that arrives with every Starlook box. On the back of the card lists each item with a description of the products along with the retail price. I really like the feature so you can understand each product thoroughly.
Starlooks Starbox is a subscription box that will give you 3-4 full size products. The box is only $15.00. The box you receive is above and beyond the $15.00 you pay. (Worth every penny) You will get great products at an affordable price. Some months you may get more than previous; it just depends month to month. Make sure if you are a first time Starlooks subscriber you order by the 1st of the month. If you order after the first you will not get that months box till the next month. Every month I am like a big kid in a candy store. When I see my box I get all excited and cannot wait to open to see what surprises are in there for me. This month was another fantastic box let’s take a look inside.
See No Evil – Gold Dust eyeliner pencil– This eyeliner pencil has a hint of sparkle. Line the entire eye or use it as a shadow to enhance your eye with the Starlooks Posh or Peddle pigment eyeshadow over the gold eyeliner. ($8.00)
Hear No Evil- Peddle Pigment– This pigment eyeshadow is very vibrant and highly pigmented in color. You need to make sure you only dab a little on your brush as this goes a long way. You can use this all over your eye or use 2 colors together. Any way you decide to use it, you will create a stunning look. ($12.00)
Speak No Evil – Masquerade lipstick- This lipstick is a red infused with orange shimmer. The lipstick is vibrant with a creamy texture. I do not find it drying or cakey on my lips. I think the color is a little to bright for my skin tone. However, I love the color and may find something to wear it with. ($11.00)
SURPRISE!!!! Eye tattoos- To enhance your image wear an eye tattoo! These look very interesting and can’t wait to try it myself. Sometimes you will get surprises such as these in your boxes. It is always a treat to find something extra. ($5.99+)
Every Starlooks box comes with a mystic crystal. These crystals symbolize beauty and help you focus. Save them and make something beautiful with them.
That is everything that was in my box this month. Check out Starlooks and subscribe today. You do not want to miss out on the upcoming boxes. This box was approx $37.00 worth of products. Not bad for only $15.00!

Feel Like a Star with Starlooks Starbox

2012-09-26 23.17.51
Starlooks Starbox is a monthly subscription program  that cost only $15.00. This box  includes 3-4 full size makeup and beauty products. Each box the value is between $30.00-$35.00. This box is one of my favorite monthly subscription boxes. I love how they are boxed up so beautifully and inside is full size products of great quality. I look forward to receiving my box each month to find out what surprises are inside.

2012-09-26 23.19.37
This is the September box. I have expected nothing but wonderful products this month as their previous boxes have been fantastic. Here you can see I received an eyeshadow palette, eye primer, and eye jewelry. On the top is a card that says exclusive offer for our valued Starbox subscribers. Refer just ONE  special person and receive our members only Starlooks makeup bag for FREE. In order to do that one would have to put the name of the referrer in the referral box at checkout. On the right side is the card that comes with each box that explains what the contents of the box are. Each box comes with crystals that add a nice touch to the box. They are supposed to symbolize energy.  Let’s look at each product individually.
2012-09-26 23.20.18
This is one of Starlooks signature eyeshadow palettes. This monographic eyeshadow palette has five full eyeshadow shades and can be used alone, or over another eyeshadow to give it an enhanced look. Each one of these eyeshadows has a white base with different colors of an opalescent tone to make your eyes shimmering. From left to right are the colors. Gold, Opal, Pink, purple, and Mint Green. What I love about these is that you can transform your eyes into a chrome finish when you layer it over a color or highlight your eye by using them alone. This palette is $30.00 that alone is $15,00 over the cost of this whole box. (You see where I am going with this?)
I used my Mally shadow stick in gold color over my eyelid and then applied the Opal and gold above and around my eye to my brow to see what the look would be like. I like how it enhances the gold and brightened my eyes.

I applied every color on this eye to give you an idea of what it looks like. I know it is showing a lot of white but I think it is the camera that makes it look this way. I first used the purple on the inner part of my eye, then I used the pink around the middle of my eyelid, I then applied the opal and put the mint green across my brow bone and towards the outside of my eye.

Starlooks Eye Primer
I am sure many of you know about eye primer. Eye primer is foundation for your eyes. It will make your eyeshadow glide on easier and enhance your eyeshadow. In addition, eye primer will help keep your eyeshadow in tact longer without creasing your makeup. To use this primer you can use a concealer brush or your finger. Dab just a little on your finger and rub on top of your eyelid. It will be slightly tacky and turn your eyelid slightly white. Do not use to much as it will make it very sticky. This eye primer is not on the site yet. However I am guessing this is around $15.00
The top part is using eyeshadow over the primer and the bottom is using eyeshadow with primer. I used the exact same color for the one without. As you can see here the bottom is much bolder in color and the primer acted like a sponge and soaked up the color and made it pop more. This is how it will react on your eye as well. I highly recommend eye primer.
The eye jewlery that came in the box did not come out well in the picture. However you can see in the first picture a tiny vial they are small Swarovski flat back eye crystals that can be applied on any area of the eye you want. Dab a small amount of glue on the back and place them where you want to wear them for a stunning look.
My Final Verdict
I love Starbox and one cannot go wrong in becoming a Starbox member. As you can see above this brought the box to a total of $45.00 that is $30.00 over what the cost of this box is. For only $15.00 a month you can get wonderful beauty products like this every single month. In addition, you can earn points for every dollar spent. 100 points = 10 star dollars. You will get free shipping as well for anything less than 10lbs. Yes, even 1 item is free shipping. Try them today and tell them I sent you!

I received the August box and this box is Starlooks first ever special limited edition Starbox. This Starbox features makeup products hand-picked by fashion designer Lauren Bradley. The colors featured in this box were used on Lauren in her first Lookbook featuring her newly released lingerie line Le Sang Bleu. When you get your Starbox inside you will find a card explaining everything you received and the value of each item. In this special edition box there is an autographed card of Lauren Bradley. In each Starbox there is a mystic crystal. It is believed that mystic crystals attract energy, maintain focus, and are the ultimate symbol of beauty.
Let’s get to the items inside the box! I am sure you are all curious to see what we have.
2012-08-24 20.47.15
I received three items in my box this month. I will show you each one and talk about them.
2012-08-24 20.47.35
Sculpture Infinity Cream liner. This cream liner is very creamy and pigmented. The color is a smokey, neutral charcoal that can be paired with any makeup color, lipstick, and outfit you choose to wear. One can wear this day or night. This is waterproof and smudge proof. If you love the sultry eye this eyeliner can create a great sultry eye look. Starlook retail value $9.00
2012-08-26 23eyeliner.jpg
This is not my best attempt to putting on eyeliner as it was really late at night and I did not use my primer. Primer over the eyes before applying eyeliner in my book is paramount, as it will help keep your eyeshadow and eyeliner more intact especially during the heat. I did this in the dark as the kids were sleeping. However, you get an idea how pretty this eyeliner is in color. I thought it was pigmented well in color and it applied on smooth. You do not need a mass of color on the brush at one time. This eyeliner is going to match well with my smokey eye palette. If you want to create a smokey eye this eyeliner will smudge nicely before it dries
2012-08-24 20brush.jpg
Pointed Slant Eyeliner Brush. This eyeliner brush creates a perfect line for the top of the eyelid. In addition this brush is 100% synthetic Japanese Nylon. This in turn allows the brush to glide over the lid with flexibility and ease. No grabbing or gathering of the eyelids during application. Starlook retail value is $12.00
My Verdict – I thought this brush was great for applying eyeliner. Dip the brush gently into your cream eyeliner and then glide it across your lash line as close as possible to your eyelash. For beginners you can use a pencil to map it out on your eyelash line first before applying the cream eyeliner. I do not use this on my waterline. I recommend using pencil eyeliner for the waterline or you can use this brush with the cream eyeliner below the waterline
2012-08-24 20lipgloss.jpg
This is the Pink Petal Rose lipgloss. This lip gloss is very creamy and has a nice light pink color. It works great when paired with a lipstick. In addition, it is very shiny and glossy. Starlook retail price of $11.00
2012-08-26 23lipgloss.jpg
As you can see the color is not very bright. However it has incredible shine. If I was to use a lipstick in a darker color it would make it pop with this on top. I love lipgloss  because you can create many different looks with them.
My verdict of the box
I loved my box this month. The total value of this box is $32.00. For only $15.00 a month plus $1.98 shipping you can get this value as well. Check them out and give it a try. Let them know Tricia’s Treasures sent you. I am not affiliated nor receive any compensation for that.
